Welcome to the Grampian section of The Ident Zone.
This section forms part of The Ident Zone, based at the MHP. Each chapter is dedicated to a particular breed of television graphics, idents, symbols or logos. Over time, we hope it will build to become the definitive source of information on television graphics.
If you can help correct any of the facts, supply any dates, or suggest what's missing (even if you don't have a copy), then please visit The Ident Zone for details of how to get in touch.

This page presents images and downloadable video files covering Grampian Television idents from the very first in 1961 up to the present day.
The development and evolution of the Grampian Television logo is charted through four decades to the present day, including a look at some rarely seen variations.
In February 2000, Grampian "changed the channel" by launching a brand new look. This special section takes a guided tour of the many new idents now seen on Grampian.
Until recently, Grampian Television was one of the few remaining ITV companies that made use of in-vision continuity announcers. Sadly, an era came to an end when continuity was taken over by STV in Glasgow. This page fondly remembers Grampian's final team of announcers, the Class of '98.
The final Grampian announcers were but the latest in a long tradition, just a small portion of which is celebrated in the Hall of Fame. How has Robin Galloway earned a crust since leaving the Granite City? All will be revealed...
